INDIA - Ooty (long name too hard to spell)
Our time in Ooty was a very relaxing one. The long journeys from Pondicherry to Hampi to Mysore then to Ooty wore us out. We checked into a nicer hotel with great views, cable TV and room service, all for $15 per night - what a splurge!!
Ooty is a pleasant little hillstation, not too unlike Darjeeling, originally set up as a summer residence for the colonials in Madras.
